Let’s talk about it!The primary focus being:Giving every child and young person the chance to have a loving, permanent home for life and strong family connections.Striving to work with families to support successful restoration into family and culture and to provide ongoing support for families.Work as an integral part of the leadership team for Samaritans PSP to introduce a series of reforms that shift the current placement-based service system to one that is centred on restoration and building lifelong connections to family using the principles of Family Finding. About you?Tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelors Degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Early Education or similar.Experience in supervising a team. Overseeing case management that focusses on the engagement of families and carers is highly regarded.Strong interpersonal skills that provide the basis for effective negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution practices and outcomes.A non-judgemental and empathetic approach to engaging and working with children and young people and their families.High level of autonomy in setting own priorities in line with strategic objectives of the organisation.Highly developed case management documentation skills, including experience with Permanency Program legal requirements.Demonstrated understanding of the relevant Government legislation applicable to the Permanency Program.Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check, Drivers Licence & First Aid CertificateApplications closing 9:00pm Monday 27th February 2023Who we are?
