About the RoleThe role of Social Worker, HYAP (Homeless Youth Assistance Program) in the New England area is to provide support to the Specialist Homelessness Services and youth work sector in working to prevent and reduce youth homelessness.The Social Worker will also provide intensive therapeutic support for children aged 12-15 and their families to prevent children from becoming homeless or entering the Out of Home Care System. The Social Worker will work to support young people’s living situations, improve levels of engagement with family, education and their local community.
