We’re looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our close-knit, experienced and multidisciplinary team in the Woodrising area near beautiful Lake Macquarie. You’ll be working with clients aged 0-65 with a focus on supporting adult clients in the NDIS space who have a variety of diagnoses and abilities, helping them achieve independence and enhance their quality of life.

What We’re Looking For:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Membership with AHPRA as a registered Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 1 year experience providing Occupational Therapy services to adults (NDIS experience is a plus) and the motivation to work with children and young people.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Drivers licence
- Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needs.
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes.
- Ability to work as a collaboratively member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities.
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
Desirable
- Knowledge of diverse cultures and community needs
- Experience in facilitating training and education to clients, support networks, service providers and/or the community.
- Demonstrated experience of developing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
