IT Portfolio Director- Fixed term 2-year Contract The Opportunity:We have an exciting newly created role for an IT Portfolio Director to come join our team!This is a senior role in the organisation responsible for managing the execution and delivery of multiple transformational "business and IT" programs within the Project Governance framework. They provide specialist expertise to governance forums, ensuring the efficient and effective running of Project Boards and Project Managers. Let’s talk about it! Role & Responsibilities:  Successful delivery of the portfolio transformational programSuccessful delivery of individual projects as assigned by the Bishop and DCEComprehensive knowledge and understanding of the portfolio governance and alignment to business strategyManage the implementation of project delivery best practices across project management practitioners, project boards and stakeholdersManage risks and issues that impact the successful delivery of the portfolioManage and maintain strategic oversight of the governance framework to ensure alignment and integration with the external governance frameworks and that requirements, including reporting activities are fully implemented, and operationalised.Manage the alignment of planning and delivery processes to appropriate funding mechanisms and stage gate approvals About you?Significant experience in the development and implementation of governance, risk, assurance and reporting frameworks in a transformational portfolio environmentSignificant knowledge of leadership and management, analysis of sustainability and optimisation of strategies, planning and portfolio performance enhancements in a large complex organisationDemonstrated knowledge on project change management best practices.Demonstrated experience in project crisis and incident project management practices.Demonstrated understanding of best practice industry trends to deliver quality services to diverse business stakeholdersAbility to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels Who we are?The Anglican Diocese of Newcastle (Newcastle Anglican) is the overarching body for some well-known Hunter and Central Coast organisations – Anglican Care, Samaritans, Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation and Anglican parishes working primarily in the Hunter and Central Coast regions of New South Wales.For more information visit or email Justin Ryan at  So, what are you waiting for?
