The OpportunityOur centre's operate between the hours of 7.30 am and 6pm. We implement age-appropriate programs and educational learning for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. A key focus of this role is to enhance individual learning outcomes by creating an environment that develops the abilities and confidence for each child attending the centre. This is achieved through having a detailed knowledge of quality practice that reflects current trends and includes a collaborative approach with families, children, the community, educators / staff members and stakeholders. THE ESSENTIALS Certificate III qualification in Early Education and ChildcareDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of developmentally appropriate practice with childrenDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain a harmonious team environment.Excellent communication skillsUnderstanding of Child Protection LegislationKnowledge of the National Quality FrameworkDemonstrated knowledge of current trends in Early Childhood The successful applicant will possess or willingness to obtain the following: NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First aid certificate/ CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates and undertake a pre-employment functional medical.
