This is achieved through having a detailed knowledge of quality practice that reflects current trends and includes a collaborative approach with families, children, the community, educators / staff members and stakeholders. A key focus of this role is to enhance individual learning outcomes by creating an environment that develops the abilities and confidence for each child attending the centre.The essentialsBachelor in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of developmentally appropriate practice with childrenDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain a harmonious team environment.Excellent communication skillsUnderstanding of Child Protection LegislationKnowledge of the National Quality FrameworkDemonstrated knowledge of current trends in Early ChildhoodDemonstrated knowledge of working in ways that ensure the inclusion of all children, particularly those that present with complex needsThe successful applicant will also possess a valid NSW Working With Children Check, Provide first aid certificate and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
