The Opportunity: A rare career opportunity has become available for a seasoned leader to join our organisation as the Director of NDIS to provide leadership, strategic direction, and overarching business vision for all NDIS services operated by Samaritans across our operational footprint in regional New South Wales. About YouYou are an experienced leader and operator with a proven track record and grass roots understanding of NDIS service delivery, with the ability to pivot strategically to execute initiatives across a multi-site workforce aimed at fostering growth and development in line with the organisations strategic plan.The successful candidate will ideally have: Strongly developed leadership and people management capability with the ability to support and empower confidence to others in a complex environment. Highly developed risk management skills and exposure to project management.A commercial lens in the provision of service delivery under NDIS.A sound understanding and working knowledge of the broader community services sector coupled with an adept NDIS Industry familiarity including accreditation and industrial legislation, funding and the shaping of policies and protocols. High level knowledge and understanding of the National Quality and Safeguarding Framework and ability to lead compliance in the service landscape. Proven internal & external stakeholder management experience including but not limited to, Government bodies, commission other relevant parties. Proven experience at a senior level within the community services sector, preferably within NDIS or Allied Health Services.Hold a tertiary degree or higher qualification in Business Management or a related discipline. The successful applicant will also possess or have willingness to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening check, Criminal history check, Driver's License, first aid & CPR certificate and undertake a pre-employment functional medical.Why Work for us? Our teams are the heart of what we do here at Newcastle Anglican.
