Let’s talk about it!The role and responsibilities:Day to day direct supervision of the Behaviour Support Team ensuring effective service delivery.Implementation of service delivery in line with strategic and operational goals.Engaging with current and potential clients ensuring timely response to feedback and complaints, intake and referral conversion and general client queries.Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.Commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes.Assisting with the implementation of organisational systems and processes which support continuous improvement strategies in the business performance of the Behaviour Support service.Managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships including the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), government agencies and non-government organisations.A clinical caseload and providing a clinically relevant service based on evidence-based practice (as required). About you? Meets the requirements of an Advanced Practitioner according to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Behaviour Support Capability Framework). Minimum 4 years’ experience in the development of behaviour support plans and skills programs. Demonstrated experience in supervising behaviour support practitioners to achieve appropriate outcomes, prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needsDemonstrated understanding of WH&S, EEO, confidentiality principles and other relevant legislations pertaining to client groups.Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check. Who we are? The Anglican Diocese of Newcastle (Newcastle Anglican) is the overarching body for some well-known Hunter and Central Coast organisations – Anglican Care, Samaritans, Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation and Anglican parishes working primarily in the Hunter and Central Coast regions of New South Wales.For more information visit www.newcastleanglican.org.au or email Barbara Critchley Barbara.critcheley@samaritans.org.au So, what are you waiting for?
