Key Responsibilities:
Support young people facing crisis, homelessness, or disadvantage.
Deliver person-centred care, advocacy, and referrals to local services.
Maintain accurate records and support applications (e.g. housing, Centrelink).
Promote child safety, wellbeing, and legal rights awareness.
Build strong professional relationships with families and external services.
Facilitate group programs, safety plans, and house meetings.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team and uphold WHS standards.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience or qualifications in social work/youth/community services and/or extensive experience
Strong communication, empathy, and resilience.
Knowledge of local youth support networks and trauma-informed care.
Commitment to cultural safety and reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The successful applicant will possess or willingness to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check, Criminal History Check, Drivers Licence, first aid & CPR certificate and undertake a pre-employment functional medical.
