The Opportunity:
Are you an outcome-driven Project Manager who thrives on the challenge of bringing complex plans to life? At Newcastle Anglican, we are embarking on a significant multi-year transformation across our organisational landscape and we are looking for a high-calibre Project Manager to lead this charge.
This is a 12-month contract with a planned opportunity for a second-year extension. We are seeking a delivery-focused leader to partner with us to drive meaningful, lasting change across our community across our schools, agencies and corporate services.

What you will do
- Own the Outcome: Lead projects from early concept and scoping through to delivery and hand over to business. You aren’t just documenting requirements; you are the driver of a successful delivery.
- Drive Delivery: Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders including the leadership team, project board members, key stakeholders and business users across the organisation.
- Anticipate & Mitigate: Identify potential "roadblocks" before they impact delivery and guide stakeholders through solutions.
- Governance with Velocity: Maintain project documentation and governance that support transparency, clarity and fast decision-making.
About you
- Demonstrated experience delivering medium to large scale transformational projects (IT and organisational change)
- Ability to translate technical complexity into clear, value-focused outcomes for Boards and Leadership teams.
- Driven by the "win" of a project going live and meeting its business goals.
- Integrity, strong work ethic and flexibility
- Proven adherence to legislation, policies and procedures
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and a practical toolkit of project management methodologies.
