The Opportunity:
Newcastle Anglican are seeking a seasoned L&D professional on a permanent Full Time basis. As the Learning & Development Partner you will work collaboratively with managers and other key stakeholders to drive the learning and development strategy aligned with organisational goals. The L&D Partner will design, implement, and evaluate innovative learning solutions to enhance employee performance, engagement, and retention. A key focus will be on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development to support individual and organisational growth.

What are we looking for?
- Provide proactive business-focussed operational learning design and development advice and service that assesses current and anticipates future learning and development needs.
- Leverage your subject matter expertise to design and coordinate learning and development initiatives, programs and projects in line with Newcastle Anglican’s’ Learning and Development framework and operational goals.
- Implement innovative and creative approaches to learning design and development to enhance the engagement, development and capabilities of all staff
- Coach, support and influence leaders across the organisation to support the successful implementation of learning and development programs.
- Capture and report on key metrics including analysis and identification of trends. Working with the Organisational Design and Development Manager, use this analysis to develop effective solutions to problems and develop value add programs.
- Identify gaps in learning design and development and contribute to operational and process improvement.
- Implement, coordinate and evaluate all Newcastle Anglican’s’ learning and development information technology systems, processes and online learning and development offerings in alignment with the business strategy.
About you?
- A track record of achievement as a Learning Design and Development or HR Business Partner with a strong background in using best practice approaches to support business strategy.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning development programs and/or initiatives.
- Creative ability and demonstrated understanding of learning and development principles to develop and implement bespoke online learning content and programs that engage all levels of learners to effectively achieve learning outcomes.
- Relevant degree or higher qualification and/or equivalent transferable skills and experience to effectively perform the role.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Current drivers licence.
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children) or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Clearance or willingness to obtain
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
