The Housekeeping Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing housekeeping and laundry services across our Residential Aged Care facilities. This role ensures services meet Aged Care Standards, support infection control, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. The manager drives team performance, service excellence, and continuous improvement to enhance the resident experience and uphold our reputation for quality care.

Role & Responsibilities: â¯
Promote Positive Culture: Foster a high-performance, values-based culture aligned with Anglican Care’s mission.
Resident-Centered Service: Ensure housekeeping services meet the needs and expectations of residents and families.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure full adherence to regulations, policies, and aged care standards.
Infection Control & Safety: Champion best practices in infection prevention and work health and safety.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement service enhancements and stay updated on industry trends.
Quality & Risk Management: Maintain and improve systems for service quality, performance, and safety.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality in all resident and organisational matters.
Manual Handling Leadership: Lead and support best practice in manual handling through coaching and oversight.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the contact point for housekeeping matters, managing communication and feedback.
Operational Oversight: Manage rostering, resourcing, stock, and supplier coordination within budget.
Team Development: Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development initiatives.
