Newcastle Anglican has a new and exciting opportunity for a Director People Experience to join the People & Culture team. Working closely with the ED P&C and Director People Services, you will shape and lead our managers and employees to achieve organisational outcomes. You will be central in driving organisational culture to enable a high performing and future ready workforce.
This is a Full-Time Permanent position.

What are we looking for?
- Lead and develop specialist teams of Strategic Partnering, Safety & Wellbeing Partnering, L&D, Talent, Change and Cultural & Capability, to shape workforce outcomes by translating organisational strategy into workforce, capability, cultural and structural solutions.
- Engage as a trusted partner and coach to senior executives, providing insights and data driven intelligence to guide decision making and enable leaders to navigate complex workforce issues to achieve the best people and organisational outcomes.
- Lead organisational design, including organisation structures and workforce plans, collaborating with and enabling Strategic Business Partners, to support the organisation deliver results.
- Provide strategic oversight to organisational culture strategies, frameworks and measures aligned to values and purpose.
- Manage organisational and people risk appropriately when making business related people decisions.
- Supporting the smooth running of initiatives, clear communications and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee the design and delivery of talent pipelines, succession planning and leadership development approaches that support sustainable service delivery.
- Embed proactive, preventative and psychologically safe work practices across the organisation.
About you?
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children)
- A current NDIS Check
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
- Current drivers licence
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Organisational Design or related discipline
- Demonstrated success leading organisational design supporting complex organisations in using an organisational design methodology.
- Significant experience spanning across Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Change, Safety and Culture/Engagement.
- Strategic and commercially astute HR professional with a proven track record of leadership and operating as a trusted advisor providing expert advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using people data and insights.
- Experience in balancing planning and strategizing with hands-on practical application and delivery focus.
- Sound experience in the development, analysis & reporting of KPIs and other general analytical results
