Delivery Driver

The Opportunity:  

This position is responsible to deliver goods and retrieve items as required for the provision of laundry services. You will have the ability to communicate effectively to ensure the goals and objectives of the transport services are met. 

The geographic locations include travel between the Central Coast and Mid North Coast to meet the service requirement needs of our aged care facilities.

Our depot is located in Boolaroo NSW 

This is casual position, with work currently available Monday & Friday. Opportunities to flex up days during leave periods are also available.

Role & Responsibilities:    

 Â·       Loading and delivery of goods to designated sites in a safe, timely, efficient and professional manner.

·       To perform cleaning duties as required and comply with relevant hygiene and infection control standards.

·       Maintaining the delivery vehicle in a clean and roadworthy state.

 About you:

·       Hold a current MR driving licence

·       Demonstrate 12 months worked experience driving HR or higher

·       Have an understanding of safe work practices, ideally proven experience in the use of appropriate manual handling techniques. 

·       Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team 

• The successful candidate will undertake a number of pre employment checks including National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes), Functional Assessment + drug / alcohol screening, NDISWC and reference checking.
