Aged Care Opportunities in Nursing and Care Assistant
The opportunity
Newcastle Anglican are holding a careers open day for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses & Care Assistants looking to join one of our facilities in Taree in either a Permanent, Part Time or Casual capacity. The open day will be held on Thursday 24th July in Taree and will run for approximately 1 â 2 hours.
The open day will give you the opportunity to meet with current staff and have a tour of Storm Village Retirement Home in Taree.
Only people who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be invited to the open day.
Facility locations â Taree & Cundletown â Storm Village & Bishop Tyrell Place.

Role & Responsibilities: â¯
- Actively promote Anglican Care’s positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
- Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
- Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
- Abide by Aged Care Standards
- Work as an effective team member
About you?
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support for Care Assistants.
- Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
- An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately document resident’s care/progress
